Mark Rutkoski
Mark Rutkoski is an artist working in painting, sculpture, photography, video, sound, and words, and is also a paintings conservator and art consultant. Paintings from his series based upon Finnegans Wake illustrated the October 1984 issue of the James Joyce Broadsheet (University of Leeds, UK). With Ani Boyajian he was an editor of the three-volume Stuart Davis: A Catalogue Raisonné, published Yale University Press, New Haven in association with Yale University Art Gallery (recipient of a 2007 Professional and Scholarly Publishing Honorable Mention for Excellence in the Art and Art History Category, given by the Association of American Publishers and winner of the 2007 Wittenborn Memorial Book Award, given by the Art Libraries Society of North America). A fan of word-drunk language, he lives and works in New York City.
