You and a friend are invited to an evening at Mrs. Porter’s Art Salon with our special guest Michelle Detorie.

Instructions:

  1. Please bring a snack, dish or beverage to share.
  2. You may also bring something to share / read / show / tell (optional).
  3. A 5-minute time limit will be observed for each reading, showing and/or telling.
  4. Be on time! Mrs. Porter is punctual.

About Michelle Detorie:

Michelle Detorie lives in Santa Barbara, CA, where she edits Hex Presse and coordinates the Writing Center at Santa Barbara City College. She is the author of numerous chapbooks including Fur Birds (Insert Press), How Hate Got Hand (eohippus labs), and Bellum Letters (Dusie). She also makes visual poems and poetry objects and curates The Poetry Booth, a public art project. Her first full-length collection, After-Cave, is forthcoming from Ahsahta Press in September. Her current project, The Sin in Wilderness, is a book-length erasure project about love, animals, and affective geography.
