Les Figues and Sur+ had a fantastic time hanging out together at the Silver Lake Jubilee. The Sur+ reading on Saturday featured Gabriela Jauregui, Brian Kim Stefans, David Lloyd, Amaranth Borsuk and Veronica Gonzalez. Les Figues had stage showcases both days, drawing a crowd despite technical difficulties. And then there were the amazing booth performances for one: Anna Joy Springer gave away “personalized metaphors in an egg;” Mathew Timmons whispered sound poetry; Kate Durbin and Jon Leon offered The New Polished You or Personal Emails; Danielle Adair gave a speech; and Allison Carter offered free advice (tarot style).
