The Ants reviewed at Coldfront

The-Ants-Sawako-Nakayasu-cover-thumbTimothy Liu reviews The Ants by Sawako Nakayasu at Coldfront. Of Nakayasu’s exposé of ants, he says:

The shorter poems pack the most wallop—a carrot cake transformed into an ant farm overnight, the shoes worn by ants akin to the shame of a boy peeing his pants—and one believes that if Russell Edson and Yoko Ono were to bed down and make a love child, it would not look like a Beatle.
