Sabine Zelger is professor at the Kirchliche Pädagogische Hochschule in Vienna and Krems. She has published widely on modern and contemporary Austrian literature. She is the author and co-editor of several books on topics such as the theories of political action in literature and the media, the theory and poetics of bureaucracy in Austria, and a cultural history of the telephone. Her research focuses on literature’s political and didactic potential for addressing social and political issues.
