Over at the Kenyon Review, Jean Yoon gives Ryoko Sekiguchi’s adagio ma non troppo (trans. Lindsay Turner) some serious love:

Sekiguchi’s fragments recall Roland Barthes, Sei Shonagon, Maggie Nelson’s Bluets, and Pessoa’s own pensive, rambling meditations on and in Lisbon in their varyingly brief, aleatoric, digressive, and contemplative qualities.
