Announcing Global Poetics Series + 2014 Membership

We are excited to announce the launch of a new series from Les Figues Press: the Global Poetics Series. The Global Poetics Series is dedicated to exploring new constructions and theories of literature through the publication of innovative poetry and prose from around the world. The series seeks to introduce this work to a U.S. audience. Beginning with Frank Smith’s Guantanamo, Sawako Nakayasu’s The Ants, and derek beaulieu’s Kern, GPS urges readers to step outside of a general textual exchange to encounter the languages on the page.

The Ants also marks the start of our 2014 membership series, which includes the following titles:

Membership starts at $60 ($30 for students, artists, and writers) and includes 15% off all other Les Figues purchases, invitations to special events, and other great benefits. Become a member today!

You can see more about each of the above titles on their forthcoming book pages and in our just-released 2014 catalog, available in print and online in PDF format.
